Fox anchor Martha Maccallum announced the news on Kelly's 'America Live' show yesterday, saying, "As you know Megyn Kelly does a fantastic job every day on this show, but today she did something even better. She gave birth to a bouncing baby girl, and that little girl is named is Yardley Evans. ... Megyn, we love you. Our hearts go out to you and little Yardley, all the best". Before her final day on air, Kelly introduced a segment named 'the five things that you should never say to a pregnant woman'. Among Megyn's tips was, 'never ask the due date', noting, "Pregnant women, especially the second time around, get bigger faster and we don't want to play the guessing game".
Megyn Kelly was previously married to the anaesthesiologist Daniel Kendall, but the couple divorced in 2006. Before joining 'America Live', the 40-year-old worked alongside Bill Hemmer on 'America's Newsroom'.
