Reunited rockers Meat Puppets have completed their first new album in over a decade.
RISE TO YOUR KNEES will be the first Meat Puppets release to feature KIRKWOOD brothers CURT and CRIS since NO JOKE! in 1995.
The reunion album comes after Cris Kirkwood's decade-long battle with a heroin addiction. Mean Puppets made one album without him in 2000.
During his time away from the group, Kirkwood spent 18 months in jail after he was shot by a post office security guard during a fight in 2003.
Brother Curt tells Billboard.com, "Cris shouldn't be alive... Cris has completely held hands with demons for 10 years and he's still swinging. He's not a total nut. He's a really sensitive guy. He's just been through hell."
Lil Wayne was reportedly ejected from a charity basketball game in St. Louis on Sunday...
The Clapton version will be included in band’s upcoming reissue of their ‘Sticky Fingers’ album.
The ‘Year of Yes’ has so far been described as ‘surprising, hilarious, poignant, and accessible’.
