FAITHLESS star Maxi Jazz has a unique way of preparing to rock out on stage - he convinces himself the audience loathes him.
The British DJ insists the peculiar habit is the only way of mustering up enough adrenaline to give an electrifying performance, and never fails to focus on a healthy dose of hatred before facing the fans.
He explains, "I follow a ritual before each show, in which I pretend to myself that it's a battle, that the crowds hate us and they've all come to see Robbie Williams or whoever else is on the bill, and they really despise us.
"I visualise that and once I get myself worked up like that then I'm ready to go on stage."
The pop legend gave no reason as to his decision, but his music is still available on Tidal.
