Max Cooper's new EP, Amalgamations, is available now and features two remixes; one of these is the remix of Hiatus' song, Third. Max is currently busy working on an album, which will be released in 2012.
The minimalistic video for the Third remix sees a pulsing circle that changes colours. Over time, we discover that the circle is an iris; the outline of the eye gradually becomes more visible, until it disappears at the end of the song.
The Belfast DJ has more than fifty remixes and original tracks to his name. He has remixed songs for artists such as Portishead and Hot Chip. In October 2011 Max headlined the Electrowerkz Festival alongside Ghosting Season. Max has also played sets at XOYO; Montreal and Decibel Festival; Lightbox and the Piknik Electronic Festival, to name but a few.
Max Cooper rose to fame with his trilogy of releases called Serie; two were released in 2009 and the final was released in 2010.
