Matthew Perry has checked into a rehabilitation clinic to undergo an intensive detoxifying programme.
The Friends actor, who played CHANDLER BING in the hit American TV series, has been placed on a 48-hour detox regime in the Peninsular Recovery Center, California, after spending three hours with doctors at a remote hospital.
Perry has a history of prescription drug addiction and has been in-and-out of rehabilitation centres since 1997.
A source tells British newspaper THE NEWS OF THE WORLD, "Matthew expressly chose to get help here because it's very low-key and away from everything."13/03/2005 14:38
