Glee star Matthew Morrison is feeling "nervous" about launching his music career because he fears his upcoming album will "expose" his weaknesses.
The actor signed a record deal last year (10), and his debut album - featuring a mixture of cover versions, duets, and self-penned tracks - is due for release later this month (May11).
But Morrison is wary of the reaction his music will receive, as writing songs is far more personal than performing for the cameras on Glee.
He tells British magazine Fabulous, "I'm nervous, yeah. I'm an actor first and foremost and I've always been able to hide behind a role or a show. Music is very exposing, it's just me out there and that's scary. This is my first time writing music and there's a big spotlight on me and a lot of expectation."
