Carolee Carmello and Matthew Morrison - A host of celebrities were snapped as they arrived for the 2015 Drama Desk Award nominees reception which was held at New World Stages in New York City, New York, United States - Wednesday 6th May 2015
There it is - six seasons, all wrapped up.
This article is about the Glee finale. If you have not seen the Glee finale and intend to do so (question your life choices now), then go read something else. As for everyone else, did Ryan Murphy and co. just pull a JK Rowling on us? The Glee saga may not have been as epic as Harry Potter, but it sure ended on an equally perfect note.
But let’s start from the beginning – the beginning of the end, if you will. It was a double bill, with the second part flashing forward to the Glee club’s future, while the first... well, this is where the tears started flowing. We got to look back on Rachel, Kurt, Mercedes and Tina’s humble Glee beginnings as we flashed back to the first season – everyone was all green and excited. The obvious problem was that there was no Finn around, but once again, the writers paid dutiful homage to Cory Monteith, alluding to his character at every opportunity.
Lea Michele's Rachel Berry has definitely mellowed out over the years.

The actor is said to signed on to help produce the musical, which opens later this year.
‘Breaking Bad’ star and Tony award winning actor Bryan Cranston is said to have signed on as a producer for Broadway musical Finding Neverland, after saying he “cried with joy” following a preview of the show earlier this month.
Walter White has moved on to Neverland
Page Six reports that the actor has signed up to help produce the show, with a source quoted as saying “Rarely do celebrities invest in projects, so this is a big sign of [Bryan’s] faith in the show.” Cranston had seen a performance of the show early February after which he tweeted, “I saw this new musical in Boston and cried with joy... But anyone thinking of repeating that better Tread Lightly. “
Rita Ora is currently involved in multiple showbiz projects.
It's clear that Rita Ora has got a lot on her plate at the moment, with anticipation surrounding her next movie 'Fifty Shades Of Grey' at an all time high especially, but she still found time in her schedule to support her fellow pop icons at the 2014 American Music Awards.
Rita Ora is about to appear in 'Fifty Shades Of Grey'
Rita Ora has been working on her exciting follow-up to 2012 debut album 'Ora', having earlier this year put out first single 'I Will Never Let You Down' produced by Calvin Harris, and now she's set to unveil a second song very soon entitled 'Testosterone'. On the anniversary of Monteith's death, Lea Michele and his co-stars shared their tributes on Twitter.
The anniversary of Cory Monteith’s death has been a trying time for his loved ones. After his father gave an interview talking about his estranged son, Monteith’s former girlfriend Lea Michele, took to Twitter for her own tribute. Michele, who acted opposite Monteith on Fox’s musical comedy Glee, posted a photo of her real life and on-screen partner, adding: “We hold you in our hearts today, and every day we remember your smile. We will love you and miss you always.”
Following Monteith's death, Lea Michele took some time, before returning to work, filming a new season and releasing her debut record and first book.
Monteith was found dead in a Vancouver hotel room on July 13, 2013. His death added new fuel to the treatment versus persecution debate for drug addicts. Monteith, who had had a turbulent childhood, had previously admitted to struggling with drug abuse in his teenage years. His death threw his friends and co-stars in confusion and resulted in a hiatus for Glee. The show later returned with a special tribute episode for Monteith, so that viewers could have a proper fairwell with the actor and his character. In his own way of commemorating Cory’s life, showrunner Ryan Murphy shared a screencap from the episode over the weekend.
Cory's close friends and his Glee colleagues are mourning the loss.
The death of Cory Monteith, whose body was discovered in a Vancouver hotel room on Saturday, has devastated his friends and co-stars, according to sources. The Mirror reports that Monteith’s fiancée, Lea Michele, who plays his character’s on-off girlfriend Rachel Berry on Fox’s Glee, was said to be “absolutely hysterical and completely inconsolable”. Michele had been busy planning the wedding when she received the news.
Monteith had been battling addiction since his teenage years.
A source said: “It is absolutely tragic. Lea was busy organising what should have been the happiest day of their lives but now she is planning her worst nightmare, Cory’s funeral,” the source commented. “He meant the world to Lea as she did to him. No one can believe he is gone at such a young age. Cory never shied away from his demons and twice he tried to rid himself of them. He was such a huge talent and touched every one he met.”
Jayma May is another actor to be leaving 'Glee' before Season 5. It was revealed yesterday (Sunday 30th June) that the actress would be leaving to pursue a role in CBS's new sitcom 'The Millers'. Elton John tells White Tie and Tiara party guests of 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison's engagement to Renee Puente.
Matthew Morrison has proudly announced his engagement to model Renee Puente after two years of dating.Well, he didn't actually announce it; it was his good friends Elton John and David Furnish who made the revelation right before bursting into a fitting rendition of Elton's 1970 single 'Your Song' at the annual White Tie and Tiara Ball which benefitted his AIDS Foundation charity.

Although we don't yet know just how the 'Glee' star popped the question, we can only assume it was majorly sweet as he didn't struggle listing off his recent romantic endeavours in an interview with the Huffington Post. Asked what is the most romantic thing he's ever done for Renee, he said: 'Hard to pick just one thing. We are really both into horses. Every new city or place we go, we always try to find a place to go horseback riding. One time in particular, after our horseback riding, we went along this beach in Hawaii. I set up this nice little picnic.' Awwwwww! Though given his love of musicals, singing and dancing, we're wondering if he maybe pulled out the big guns with a flash mob?? But then, this guy's way too modest for that.

With L'Wren Scott hosting, the party was nothing, if not glamorous.
The summer social calender is now in full swing and it just wouldn’t be complete without the Serpentine Gallery’s Summer party. This year the event was organised and hosted by L’Wren Scott. The former model and current fashion designer was approached by gallery's co-director, Julia Peyton-Jones, and asked to be involved in this year's event, according to Vogue. Considering the guest list at the exclusive garden party, it is certainly easy to see why the Serpentine summer event counts as one of the highlights of the London season. Everyone – from actors, models and socialites to arts patrons – was out in full force and, of course, in appropriate attire.
From across the pond, Sarah Jessica Parker brought some 1920s glamour to the evening. The Sex and the City star attended the event with husband Matthew Broderick. She wore a silver flapper-inspired Naeem Khan dress and of course, her signature Manolo Blahnik’s.
Sarah Jessica Parker summoned some old-school charm for the event.
