Hollywood actor Matthew Mcconaughey is to star in a new comedy called Arrested Development.

The HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN TEN DAYS star will play an undercover college drugs officer who has to retire when he is told he looks too old. The script is penned by TV writer JOHNNY ROSENTHAL.

Producer Gus Gustawes tells VARIETY.COM, "He's an optimistic character who doesn't see why he should be replaced.

"He hatches a plan to go undercover one last time in the town's most prestigious high school. The tone is very much ZOOLANDER and Old School, which is why Matthew liked it so much."
