A woman who claims Matthew Fox punched her in the breasts when she refused to take him to his hotel on board her bus is suing him for £16,000
Matthew Fox is being sued for £16,000 by a woman who claims he punched her.
Ohio bus driver Heather Bormann has filed assault and battery charges against the former 'Lost' actor following the incident in the early hours of August 28, where she claims he drunkenly tried to get onto her vehicle and demanded she drove him to his hotel.
When she refused - because she was there for a private party - papers filed at the Cuyahoga County Court allege he attacked her "with his fists".
The case states: "Defendant Fox continued to force his way onto the Steps of the bus, and bellowed loudly at plaintiff, demanding she drive him to his hotel. Plaintiff again informed him she could not do so, that this was a private party and that he was trespassing upon a private party and vehicle, without permission to do so, and would have to find another ride.
"Suddenly and without provocation, Fox attacked plaintiff with his fists, delivering sudden and severe blows to her right breast, groin, arm and legs, inflicting severe, disabling injury and pain to plaintiff."
She defended herself against the punches, causing Matthew to suffer a split lip, and the Cleveland police were eventually called.
Heather is seeking the money for assault, battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
A lawyer for the actor has not yet commented on the compensation claim.
