What happened was in '87 was a terrible tragedy that wasn't as much Broderick's fault as it is the driving laws in all counties that allow a license from a different country. The couple are still relating their sadness for what I would say was an error or distraction that may have caused his vehicle to move toward the other lane and a natural reflex would be to swerve right will the other natural reflex was to swerve left. Debris would be found on outter portion of the lane. I've investigated hundreds of such crashes and believe anytime a foreign drives a car in a country that drive on the opposite side like Ireland, British Commonwealth territories or Japan do, the drivers need some sort of additional training if they plan to drive there.

I do not watch anything having to do with Matthew Broderick. However, I did see his Godzilla movie. Whenever he was on screen, I would put my fingers in my ears and close my eyes. Then I would peek to see if he were off the screen. I do not believe his story that he remembers nothing. Notice he has no problems remembering movie scripts. He killed 2 people due to his recklessness and got off scott free. I used to like Sarah Jessica Parker until she hooked up with this lying murderer.

I heard about this accident years ago and read an article where Broderick says he didn't think he needed to speak to the family or apologize since he didn't remember anything. I don't know whether that article was true or not but I have not watched anything he's been in since. Now that I've read that it took him 16 years to speak to the family I'm not sorry that he's no longer a part of my television, movie or Broadway viewing. Remember or not, he took two lives. I believe that at least deserves an apology of some kind. At least to say he's sorry it happened. I wouldn't even want to talk to him 16 years later. I guess he had no problem sleeping at night.
