Travelling Tv timelord Matt Smith has his sights set on becoming a supervillain in the next James Bond movie.
The Doctor Who star wants to take over where Javier Bardem left off in Skyfall after accepting he's not handsome enough to play 007.
He says, "Start campaigning now. I don't think I could be James Bond though... I'd edge on the camp dangerous side I think. Javier Bardem was amazing. I thought Skyfall was a sumptuous film."
And he's thrilled his beloved sci-fi character has joined the modern age - because he feels more like 007 or Matt Damon's Jason Bourne.
Smith explains, "The new series is a modern-day conspiracy thriller. It's like Doctor Who meets Bourne, meets Bond, meets action adventure and I'm really pleased with it."
