British funnyman Matt Lucas realised he was gay when he was just seven years old, because he began lusting after pop star SHAKIN' STEVENS.
The LITTLE BRITAIN comedian admits his amorous feelings towards the same sex were ignited by a poster of the 1980s singer he kept on his wall.
He tells British magazine Attitude, "The first time I'd an inkling I was gay was looking at that picture when I was seven.
"I said to my friend, 'Don't you think sometimes men are handsome?' I didn't think much of it at the time - I thought both girls and boys were attractive.
"I'm sure the thoughts weren't sexual, but there was something there. Later on, at an all-boys private school, my feelings for the same sex dominated. But weirdly, after I'd come out years later, I found women attractive again."
