Hollywood actor Matt Damon has blasted actors who boast about the death-defying stunts they undertake on movie sets - insisting directors leave all the dangerous moves to experienced stand-ins.

The BOURNE SUPREMACY star is sick of hearing his big screen contemporaries claiming they risked their lives in the name of art, because he knows actors never take on anything beyond their expertise.

He says, "(One of my) pet peeves is hearing actors talk about how they do stunts.

"It's so f***ing lame. I did a bunch of stunts but they were safe. They're never going to ask you to do something that's not safe."
