ringing back the original cast members of a TV series airing in reruns on a cable network to chat is nothing new. But with original sitcoms now being offered on cable, Viacom's TV Land is able to bring back the cast of The Mary Tyler Moore Show -- at least the female members -- and insert them as characters on a special episode of Hot in Cleveland, starring Betty White, who played Happy Homemaker Sue Ann Nivens on the CBS series from 1970 to 1977. This is the first time in over 30 years that the five former castmates have gotten together for a sitcom, TV Land said in a statement. The episode has been scheduled to air on Sept. 4 at 10:00 p.m., followed by the season finale of Hot in Cleveland.
