Mary Berry might be done with ‘The Great British Bake Off’, but the 81-year-old’s loyalty to the BBC has been rewarded with another new show.

After announcing ‘Mary Berry's Secrets from Britain's Great Houses’, earlier this month, the BBC has now revealed Mary will front another new show titled ‘Mary Berry Everyday’.

The series, which will air on BBC2 in the spring, will see Mary explore the recipes that have shaped her cooking over six decades.

Mary will also “don a white suit to try her hand at bee-keeping in search of some delicious honey, a particular love of hers; pursue the history of the great British pie; and return to her own childhood when she learns to milk a goat and make her own goat’s cheese.”

BBC 2 channel editor Patrick Holland added: “I am thrilled that Mary is returning to BBC 2 to share her magic. Her everyday recipes are inspirational and delicious and her series will be a real treat for the audience.”

Mary’s other new show, ‘Mary Berry's Secrets from Britain's Great Houses’ will see the 81-year-old explore the nation's stately homes through the "prism" of food.

Speaking about the series Mary said: "I am so excited to be doing this new series with the BBC - I have always had an enquiring mind so I know I will be inspired by the great houses we visit."
