Martina McBride has enlisted breast cancer survivor Sheryl Crow to star in her new music video to give hope to women battling the disease.
The country singer's single I'm Gonna Love You Through It chronicles a woman's fight with the condition, with lyrics including "She dropped the phone and burst into tears/ The doctor just confirmed her fears... She made it through the surgery fine/ They said they caught it just in time."
Cancer survivors Crow and American TV presenters Robin Roberts and Hoda Kotb feature in the touching video for the song, and MCBride is convinced their involvement will inspire her fans experiencing health battles.
She says, "I knew it was a song I wanted to record because of the strong message of hope that it sends. I believe I'm Gonna Love You Through It will offer hope and inspiration to so many people who are going through or have been through cancer and the people who love them through it.
"It takes a lot of strength and a lot of love to get through something like that. I think this song says what so many people want to express to their loved ones."
