Martin Scorsese and LEONARDO DiCAPRIO are fast becoming Hollywood's new power duo after signing on to make yet another movie together.
Scorsese has directed the movie hunk in epics THE GANGS OF NEW YORK and OSCAR-nominated The Aviator and will work with him again on THE DEPARTED in April (05).
And now, the duo have announced another project after negotiating a remake of Akira Kurosawa's 1948 film DRUNKEN ANGEL, according to trade magazine HOLLYWOOD REPORTER.
If the film goes ahead, DiCaprio will play a criminal being treated by an alcoholic doctor in postwar Japan.
The Aviator screenwriter John Logan is reportedly onboard to pen the script.10/02/2005 21:26
