Fact: Leann Rimes performed Amazing Grace in the rain as part of the celebrations surrounding the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's iconic civil rights speech in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday (28Aug13). The country star sang the spiritual as a bystander held an umbrella over her head. Rimes joined African-American leaders and politicians at the National Mall for the day of speeches and performances.

Fact: The speeches of Martin Luther King will be protected under a copyright deal with British record company EMI. Managers of the civil rights leader's estate have requested EMI staff charge for the use of infamous speeches on websites such as YouTube - and promote and sell them more effectively on iTunes.
