Screen legend Marlon Brando's last significant trip from his Hollywood Hills home was to visit a close pal of his - pop superstar Michael Jackson.

More than a year before his 1 July (04) death of lung failure, the reclusive star left his home and travelled north to the Santa Ynez Valley to enjoy the luxuries afforded to him whenever he stayed at THRILLER singer Jackson's Neverland Ranch.

Brando's son MIKO, who began working for Jackson almost two decades ago as a security guard, tells the LOS ANGELES TIMES, "The last time my father left his house to go anywhere, to spend any kind of time, it was with Michael Jackson.

"He loved it... My father had a 24-hour chef, 24-hour security, 24-hour help, 24-hour kitchen, 24-hour maid service. Just carte blanche.

"He met Michael through Quincy Jones back in the 1980s."

Mike says that Jackson even bought a plasma TV screen for his father's bedroom. When Brando moved the set to another room, Jackson bought him another.

Jackson is godfather to Miko's nine-year-old daughter PRUDENCE.
