Movie legend Marlon Brando's ashes have been scattered in Death Valley and his home in Tahiti, according to reports.
According to newspaper the LOS ANGELES TIMES, a memorial service for the GODFATHER OSCAR winner - who died of lung failure on 1 July (04) aged 80 - was held at the home of Hollywood producer Mike Medavoy, with guests including Warren Beatty, Jack Nicholson and Sean Penn.
Brando has owned an atoll called Tetiaroa, just north of Tahiti, since the 1960s and regularly used it as a hideaway.
His son MIKE told the LA Times his father also chose Death Valley in California as a final resting place, because it was one of his favourite places.
The reports claims the ashes of Brando's friend WALLY COX - who died in 1973 - were also poured into the desert in the same ceremony.22/09/2004 17:12
