Mark Wahlberg has jokingly warned his daughter's first boyfriend that their relationship will be a ''big f***ing problem'' and admitted he may struggle trusting someone with his children as they get older.
Mark Wahlberg jokes it will be a ''big f***ing problem'' when his daughter gets a boyfriend.
The 42-year-old actor - who has daughters Ella Rae, nine, and Grace Margaret, three, and two sons Michael Robert, seven, and Brendan Joseph, four, with wife Rhea Durham - thinks his role in 'Transformers 4', where he plays single dad, Flynn Vincent, will help him prepare for when Ella gets a boyfriend in the future.
In the forthcoming film Mark's on-screen daughter (Nicola Peltz) is dating a race car driver (Jack Reynor) and he must come to terms with this.
He told BANG Showbiz: ''I also have to entrust the most important thing in my life to him [Jack] at a certain in the movie.
''And that's if something happens to me make sure he protects my little girl. So I love the human element to the movie and I love the relationship and the dilemma, even though I can identify with it.
''I know it's in my near future that my little girl is going to end up having a boyfriend and its going to be a big f***ing problem.''
