Mark Wahlberg thinks Justin Bieber is a ''really talented'' actor and he is impressed with the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker's desire to be successful in the industry.
The 41-year-old actor is to team up with the 18-year-old popstar in a forthcoming as-yet untitled basketball movie, and Mark has been impressed with the 'Boyfriend' hitmaker's desire to become a successful actor.
He said: ''I think he can deliver as an actor. I think he's hungry, serious and really talented. He's a great athlete, which most people don't know. So I think he wants it and he will work hard for it.''
Mark also advises youngsters in his home city of Boston in Massachusetts to work hard if they want to achieve something in their career, and he urges them not to mix with the wrong crowd of people if they want to make something of themselves.
He added: ''I tell them the truth, I say you get out what you put in, hard work pays off. If I can do it, there's no reason you can't , because most of them are smarter than me, they are more talented, but it's just about wanting to go out there and make it happen.
''When I go back home now, I'm not scared of those guys. I say to them, 'Hey, you want to be like me, or do you want to be like them?' ''
