Rocker Mark Mcgrath is nervously awaiting his debut as a TV anchor on an entertainment news show - although he's looking forward to the string of beautiful women he'll meet.
From tomorrow (13SEP04), the 36-year-old Sugar Ray frontman will be co-hosting long-running show EXTRA, and he's petrified.
McGrath says, "I'm living in such anxiety and fear just trying to get things right, I haven't had time to really settle down into TV anchor mode.
"I think it will be smarmy if I use this job to (meet women). But if it does happen, I will welcome it with open arms."
McGrath has promised fans he will continue recording with his band.12/09/2004 21:20
