Rocker Mark Hoppus was left frantic before one of Blink-182's weekend (16-17Jun12) shows in England after his son was hospitalised with a fever.
The band performed in the U.K. cities of Birmingham and Sheffield on Saturday (16Jun12) and Sunday (17Jun12) respectively, but Hoppus' nine-year-old son Jack fell ill with a bug prior to one of the gigs and was treated by medics backstage.
He was sent to hospital as a precaution, and the rocker is relieved his son has now been released from the health facility.
In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page on Monday (18Jun12), he writes, "sheffield rocked, my son is out of hospital, and today is a day off. (Jack had) 104 degree fever, vomiting. show medics looked at him 15 minutes before showtime, ordered him to the hospital. he's ok now."
It is unclear which day Jack was hospitalised.
