Newlywed Mario Lopez says his wife Courtney Mazza's cooking and little trips away help keep the romance alive in their relationship
Mario Lopez claims his wife's cooking keeps their romance alive.
The newlywed 'The X Factor' USA host - who married Broadway dancer Courtney Mazza at 'Girls Gone Wild' founder Joe Francis' $30 million Punta Mita estate in Mexico last weekend - says he also loves taking her on spontaneous trips away as he claims it helps to keep their relationship spicy.
He told People.com: ''Taking off for a quick trip or having little quickies here and there. Kids and jobs and everything else gets in the way, but you can't forget about each other.
''The most romantic thing about my wife is the meals she cooks when I come home.''
The 39-year-old former 'Saved By The Bell' star also revealed the couple opted to ask all of their wedding guests to make a donation to charity rather than giving them gifts.
He said: ''To be honest, we didn't have a wedding registry and didn't ask for any gifts. We asked for people to donate to a charity. That was important to us.
''We had so many people say that was the best wedding ever. Oh my god, it was so much fun.''
The pair's nuptials were screened on TLC's 'Mario & Courtney's Wedding Fiesta' today (08.12.12).
Mario previously tied the knot to Ali Landry in Mexico in 2004 but their marriage was annulled after just two weeks and he later revealed he had cheated on her at his bachelor party just days before their nuptials.
He previously said: ''At that point I was not ready to settle down. I wasn't man enough to know how to go about handling it.''
