Mario Lopez has launched an underwear collection.

The US television presenter - who is well known for his toned physique - has created a range named RatedM, which is already being sold online and will enter Bloomingdale's department stores in the new year.

He said: "I'd always wanted to get into the apparel and fitness world and I thought, 'Why don't I just start my own?'

"It's smart, sexy and masculine. We like to say it goes from the boardroom to the bedroom and everywhere in between."

The 38-year-old star - who rose to fame on TV show 'Saved By The Bell' - created the line in partnership with Mike Tawil and company Mad Projects LLC, and the businessman admitted the line was a sensible development of his brand.

He said: "It made sense to launch this with Mario. He's a hard worker who cares about his body and how he looks. When we met him we could see why people love him."

The line consists of three collections, basics, dressy underwear and athletic pieces, with colours ranging from black to white, gray, purple and red.
