Kurt admitted he loves casting ''outside the box'' and the decision to hire Courtney Love to play a teacher in the upcoming series fitted perfectly with the ''fun'' he looks for in his cast.
Speaking at the Television Critics Association (TCA) press tour in Beverly Hills, he said: ''I tend to do this every season, I like to do some casting that's a little bit outside the box, from Stephen King to David Hasselhoff. We try to do stuff that's fun.
