Marilyn Manson's percussionist Chris Vrenna has quit the shock rocker's band.
The musician/producer plans to concentrate on scoring films and video games.
A statement from Vrenna reads, "I'm incredibly proud of the work I did with Manson and look forward to the release of (new album) Born Villain. I wish my brothers well, but, with the recording largely completed, I felt it was time to return to other facets of my career."
Vrenna is also a former member of Nine Inch Nails and he has also worked with U2, Smashing Pumpkins, Evanescence, Slipknot and Nelly Furtado.
