It hasn't taken Mariah Carey long to lose her baby weight after giving birth to twins Moroccan and Monroe - the superstar diva says she has lost 70 pounds in just six months, according to US Weekly Magazine.
The singer, who appears on Justin Bieber's recently released festive album 'Under the Mistletoe', welcomed her first children with comedian Nick Cannon in April 2011. Mariah has kept a low profile since then, but explains she has been working on her figure, saying, "I gained an enormous amount of weight". Beginning in July, the songstress hired a nutritionist and began work on a diet plan by Jenny Craig - keeping to just 1,500 calories per day, with three weekly workouts. Explaining her fantastic results, the 41-year-old said, "I feel incredible.It was a huge blessing to be able to have the babies.But I felt trapped in my body because I couldn't move. I'm proud of how hard I worked to get my body back...I had to do this for me". The singer is now the proud owner of "toned legs" and a "flat stomach" - she wears size-6 shorts on the cover of the latest US Weekly magazine.
In a career spanning over 20 years, Mariah has sold 200 million albums and singles worldwide, making her one of the biggest selling artists in music history.
