Moving on to 1992 hit ‘Dreamlover’ the singer reemerged in a a custom pink convertible named Mariah (because what else) as her 10 backing dancers moved around her. For the performance of 1997 hit ‘Honey’ the props got even more impressive as she boarded a yellow jet ski while wearing an embellished leotard and gold strappy heels.
2008’s ‘Touch My Body’ saw the singer performing on top of a revolving circular bed, while dressed in an ornate pink ruffled gown. The show’s elaborate set design featured a giant butterfly, Mariah’s trademark symbol, which changed throughout the evening.
Mariah ended the night with her latest release ‘Infinity’ after which a confetti cannon showered the crowd. Although some may have doubted if Mariah still had the vocals to pull off her biggest hits, on opening night the pop diva proved to both fans and critics she really can still hit the high notes when it matters.
