Rappers D4L have ended Mariah Carey's reign at the top of the US singles chart after taking their catchy anthem LAFFY TAFFY to the number spot.

Carey's DON'T FORGET ABOUT US spent two weeks at the top over Christmas (05), but drops to number seven on the new chart.

Laffy Taffy is also the Billboard chart's greatest sales gainer and rises 8-3 on the Pop 100 list. It remains number one on the Hot Digital Songs chart.

Chris Brown's RUN IT! stays at number two, while Nickelback's PHOTOGRAPH, Kanye West's GOLD DIGGER and GRILLZ by Nelly and Paul Wall complete the top five.

Goth rockers My Chemical Romance have claimed the chart's only debut - their GHOST OF YOU enters the Hot 100 at 84.
