The first official snaps of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's twins won't be sold to the highest bidder - the celebrity couple is more interested in ensuring the photos are tastefully done.
Cannon and Carey welcomed daughter Monroe and son Moroccan on 30 April (11), on the couple's third wedding anniversary.
They are reportedly now shopping a potential photoshoot to magazines so they can introduce the tots to the world, and the pair is determined to get the best shots - even if it means taking a lower offer.
A source tells New York Post gossip column Page Six, "Mariah and Nick are more concerned with doing the right thing than going to the highest bidder. They're talking to a number of publications about doing it in the best and most tasteful way.
"Nick has said on radio he doesn't feel entirely comfortable selling pictures of his children. But the first picture remains very valuable to the paparazzi."
A representative for the singer adds, "She is still deciding when and if she's going to (arrange a photoshoot). She is enjoying being a mom, and there's no rush. It's not about the money."
