Mariah Carey is doubling up at the top of the US charts after locking in a third week at number one with hit single WE BELONG TOGETHER.

The singer returned to the top of the Billboard album charts yesterday (08JUN05) with The Emancipation Of Mimi and has made it an extra special week by keeping Gwen Stefani off the top of the singles chart.

Carey's hit is only the fourth record to claim the number one spot in America this year (05), after lengthy stays by Mario, 50 CENT and Stefani.

Meanwhile, in a slow week for new entries on the singles chart, Eminem has landed the highest debut at 83 with ASS LIKE THAT.
