Mariachi El Bronx Lead Latest Additions To Reading & Leeds Festival 2015 Line-Up

Reading & Leeds Festival 2015's ever expanding line-up continues to grow with yet more acts announced to appear across the many stages; some of which are well-established, and some up-and-coming, but all definitely worth experiencing this year.

Kicking off proceedings, Mariachi el Bronx will be bringing a little Mexican spirit to the UK festival - which will be just as well if the English weather lets us down come August. They'll be joining headliners Metallica, Mumford & Sons and The Libertines, plus many more top billing artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Alt J and Bring Me The Horizon.

Forecastle Completes 2015 Line-Up With The War On Drugs And Mariachi El Bronx

Forecastle Festival has finally completed its 2015 line-up and announced the full day-by-day schedule for the coming event, which is set to hit Louisville, Kentucky yet again in July. Plus, you'll very soon be able to purchase single day tickets for each day.

Joining the stellar line-up headlined by the already announced Sam Smith, locals My Morning Jacket and Widespread Panic are The War On Drugs, ZZ Ward, Robert DeLong and Mariachi el Bronx among a handful of others. With such talent expected every day between July 17th and 19th, 2015 is shaping up to be an important year for Forecastle.

Not best known for their creative album titles, The Bronx's side-project Mariachi el Bronx are returning with their third release entitled, you guessed it, 'Mariachi El Bronx (III)'. Plus, they'll be celebrating their latest venture with a December tour alongside gypsy punks Gogol Bordello.

'Mariachi El Bronx (III)' is this project's latest venture

LA rock band The Bronx have been a firm fixture of the hardcore scene since their debut album in 2003, but since they created their mariachi offshoot they have seen their international popularity soar. 'Mariachi El Bronx (III)' was recorded mostly at the Haunted Hallow Studios in a scenic area of Charlottesville, Virginia over two weeks with their usual producer John Avila (formerly of new wave band Oingo Boingo). The result is a much more daring, modern take on their usual traditional tunes, which just shows how comfortably they are settling into their niche.
