A biopic of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher is being made by the BBC and Pathe Films. Hoping to capture the success of DAME Helen Mirren hit THE QUEEN, filmmakers will focus on the 17 days before the Falklands War in 1982. According to Variety, Thatcher will be seen "wrestling with her own private fears, facing down the men who doubted her and forging her image as the Iron Lady". Damian Jones is producing the picture, which will be written by scriptwriter BRIAN FILLIS.
