'Desperate Housewives' actress Marcia Cross admits it's a struggle getting her children to eat fruit and vegetables.
MARCIA CROSS struggles to get her children to eat healthily.
The 'Desperate Housewives' actress - whose husband Tom Mahoney is battling cancer - admits two-year-old twins Eden and Savannah can be quite fussy about their food choices so she is always coming up with new ways to get them to take in essential nutrients.
She revealed: "One of my daughters just wants pasta and carbs, so you have to be sneaky."
The 47-year-old star is already placing an emphasis on the importance of exercise in bringing up her children, but makes sure they have fun with it.
She said: "I make sure Eden and Savannah have plenty of playground time. I just open up the gates and let 'em go."
Although Marcia is focused on her children's needs, she admits she has let her social life slide since falling pregnant with the twins, who turn three later this week.
She admitted to People magazine: "I have a lot of friends that I haven't called in three years."
