Marc Jacobs and his boyfriend Harry Louis have ended their two-year relationship due to incompatible work schedules.
Marc Jacobs has split from his partner Harry Louis.
After announcing his departure from Louis Vuitton last week, it appears the 50-year-old designer has also called it quits with his long-term Brazilian boyfriend due to incompatible work schedules.
Porn star-turned-model Harry took to Instagram to share the news with his followers by uploading a picture of the couple in happier times, using a broken glass filter to symbolise their shattered romance.
He wrote: ''The distance and lack of time because of work schedules aren't really something realistic, and he's such a beautiful and amazing person, that I think he deserve a bf who will stay at least in one of the cities that he leaves in... Also, I need that too...
''We love each other very much, and that it was a decision from both!!!! Every special minute we've spent together will be treasured, and a new chapter of our both lives has started... Both of us focusing in work, and make it work!!!!''
The 25-year-old hunk's fans were quick to respond with messages of support, with one writing, ''I know both of you are great people and will find great love again. My prayers and thoughts of support to you both.''
Marc and Harry first began dating in 2011, and seemed stronger than ever after a brief break-up in 2012.
It seems the pair made the decision to end things during Paris Fashion Week since the photograph was taken at the Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2014 show at Le Carre du Louvre on October 2.
The show was also Marc's swansong after 16 years at the helm of the luxury brand. The acclaimed designer will now focus on his own eponymous fashion label.
