Dakota Fanning was chosen to front the campaign for Marc Jacob's Oh, Lola perfume because she is ''seductive and sweet''.
The designer has been a big fan of the 'Twilight Saga: New Moon' actress for some time and considered her perfect as the face of the fragrance thanks to what he calls her "Lolita" qualities.
He said: "I've been a big fan of Dakota since the first time I saw her in a movie.
"When we were speaking about who to use in the Oh, Lola fragrance ads - I had recently seen The Runaways. Dakota was in it, and I knew she could be this contemporary Lolita, seductive yet sweet."
Dakota, 17, has been an admirer of Marc's scents for some time and was "humbled" to be invited to appear in the new campaign.
She explained to WWD: "Every time one of Marc's fragrances comes out I run to the store to buy it. The moment I was asked to be a part of the Oh, Lola campaign, I was so humbled and said 'yes' immediately."
Dakota is not the only actress to recently join forces with the Marc Jacobs' brand, Helena Bonham Carter has become the latest face of The Fashion label following in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Sofia Coppola.
The British star - who is renowned for her eccentric fashion tastes - was photographed for the campaign by JUERGEN TELLER.
