Bollywood filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt is set to make a movie based on the murder of Pakistani cricket coach, BOB WOOLMER.
The Indian director plans to explore the mysterious circumstances surrounding Woolmer's untimely death during the cricket World Cup earlier this year (07).
The former England cricket star was found dead in his hotel room at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica, on 28 March (07). Local authorities are treating Woolmer's death as murder.
But while Bhatt will be using the controversial case as the base for his movie, he insists he will not name the coach as such, and will give it a romantic twist.
He says, "I'm definitely making the film on Woolmer. We will not name him. We are using a fictional situation but the people will see the obvious connection.
"The film is not just about the coach's death. It is a love story against the backdrop of cricket."
Bhatt will begin filming the movie in August (07).
The pair recently enjoyed their first visit to the interactive experience in New York.
