Pop superstar Madonna fears she is only famous for taking off her clothes - but insists she was once a prude.
The Like A Virgin hitmaker regrets posing almost naked on the front cover of her 1982 book Sex, believing the daring move led people to brand her an exhibitionist.
But the 49-year-old is adamant she was once less adventurous - especially when she was married to actor Sean Penn.
She says, "I really was not getting up to much. I don't think I was as naughty as I could have been.
"I was quite straight. I was a geek when I was that age. I did not really do much that was interesting.
"I hope that's not the only thing that I'm identified with - taking off my clothes. I have done other things. There's a lot more to being Madonna than taking off your clothes."
