Superstar Madonna continues to prove she's the queen of pop as she rules the UK singles and album charts for a second and third week respectively.

The 47-year-old's dance anthem HUNG UP, which samples Abba's GIMME GIMME GIMME, stayed at number one on Sunday (27NOV05), while her album CONFESSIONS ON A DANCEFLOOR remained atop the album charts, despite competition from UK POP IDOL winner Will Young's third album KEEP ON, which entered at two.

Westlife and Black Eyed Peas kept last week's (20NOV05) positions, with their singles YOU RAISE ME UP and MY HUMPS at number two and three respectively.

The only new entry in the singles chart this week was the Gorillaz's song Dirty Harry at six, while Irish singer Enya's latest disc AMARANTINE entered the album charts at number eight.
