Madonna jumped back on a horse last night (20OCT05) for the first time since breaking a collarbone in an equestrian accident on her birthday, to promote her new album on American talk show TONIGHT WITH DAVID LETTERMAN.
The singer and Letterman each mounted a horse and rode down New York's West 53rd Street to the amazement of passers-by.
Madonna, wearing stilettos, looked nervous on the horse - just weeks after she broke five ribs and fractured her collarbone after a fall on her English country estate. When asked how she felt, she told reporters, "I have a bit of excitement tainted with fear."
She recently claimed she wouldn't ride a horse again until she had permission from her record label, because "my record company is not very keen on the idea of me injuring myself."
