Rockers Machine Head have settled a defamation and breach of fiduciary duty and interference lawsuit with former bassist Adam Duce.
The rocker filed a $1.8 million (£1.05 million) claim against his former bandmates, their manager, record label and his replacement, but it was settled out of court on Wednesday (02Jul14).
The terms of the deal remain confidential.
In his original complaint, Duce claimed that although MAChine Head had formed a general partnership and a corporation, under which each member owned 25 per cent of the band, frontman Robb Flynn received a larger portion of the income.
Duce accused the singer of defaming him in his online response, in which Flynn attacked the bassist's work ethic.
The rocker also claimed his likeness was used on the band's website and merchandise without his permission.
