Danish MC and singer Lucy Love is due to release her new single 'Thunder' in the UK on August 8th via her own 'Superbillion Records' label. The track is taken from her upcoming album, 'Kilo'.
The video for Thunder was directed by the award winning Martin Werner, who offered his services after being impressed by the song. The video features 'High Fidelity' star Iben Hjejle. The uneasy atmosphere of the video complements the moody qualities of the song.
Lucy Love was born Lucy Siame in Zambia to an English mother, who raised Lucy in Denmark. Lucy also spent her childhood in the London suburb of Croydon, where she picked up on the regional accent, which can be heard in her songs.
Lucy was inspired by both the UK and the Danish club scenes and has become very popular in her home country. She has sold out shows all over Denmark and recently played to a crowd of 20,000 fans at a festival in Tivoli Gardens, an amusement park in Copenhagen.
