CHARLIE'S ANGELS star Lucy Liu fears reality TV has turned Americans away from the world's disasters. The actress recently shot a public information film in Balakot, Pakistan with children's charity Unicef to show the extent of the devastation of the earthquake that ripped through the country last November (05). And, upon her return to the US, the star admits she was shaken to her core by Americans' apparent disregard for global disasters. She fumes, "People are so involved in reality TV and tabloids and it's unfortunate, because the reality is what we don't want to see reality any more, so we get caught up in what we should be thinking about. "After 9/11 there's been a disease of having so much fear and pain involved in what happened that people want to shut off, so it's better to go into someone else's life."
