Louis Tomlinson will focus on fatherhood during One Direction's extended hiatus.

The 'Drag Me Down' hitmaker - who is expecting a baby with Briana Jungwirth - is reportedly not planning a solo career, but is instead keen on giving all his attention to raising their son or daughter.

A source told HollywoodLife.com: ''Louis is comfortable enough financially to take a year or two off and feels that his solo career can wait because fatherhood is much more important.

''[He's] joking that he will live his life vicariously through Harry [Styles'] solo career while the band is on a break.''

Meanwhile, an insider previously claimed the group are planning to have at least twelve months apart but insists there is no ''bad blood'' between Harry, Louis, Liam Payne and Niall Horan.

They said: ''The guys have been together for five years, which is an incredible run for any boyband. They fully deserve to have at least a year to work on their own projects. There is absolutely no bad blood between them and they are all 100 per cent behind the decision.

''It is definitely not a split and they fully intend to get back together at some time in the future. But for now it is the end and they go out on top as the world's most popular music act.''
