However, a practice session went wrong last Wednesday (23Jan13) when he dived into the pool but was too tired to heave himself out again, according to Tmz.com.
Editors at the website report Anderson had to be rescued by his diving trainer and a fellow competitor, football star Ndamukong Suh.
A representative for the comedian insists the star is still enjoying the contest, saying "(He is) feeling great, loving the challenge."
The U.S. programme is due to premiere in America on 19 March (13).
