The stars of hit U.S. TV series Lost were left stunned at a special screening for the final season premiere - more than 10,000 fans arrived to watch the episode with the cast on a Hawaiian beach.
The show, which focuses on a group of plane crash survivors stranded on a desert island, has become a sensation in the U.S. but is set to conclude this year (10) at the end of the sixth season because TV bosses have "run out of ideas" for plotlines.
But fans proved they are still devoted to the show, queueing for up to 12 hours before Saturday (30Jan10) night's event to catch a glimpse of the episode and their favourite stars including Matthew Fox, Evangeline Lilly, Josh Holloway and Daniel Dae Kim.
Fans sat on beach towels and lawn chairs on Waikiki Beach to watch the show, which airs in America on Tuesday night (02Feb10).
Kim called the event "humbling, outrageous and a lot of fun".
