The bandmates were due to perform as part of the Reeperbahn Festival at Rock Cafe St. Pauli, but they had to call off the show when Rickly was hospitalised.

Sharing the news on Instagram.com, Rickly writes, "Just a little note to say that I was poisoned & robbed (outside our @reeperbahn_festival venue on Friday) and spent the night in the hospital in Hamburg...

"Sorry to anyone that was at our show for the cancellation. The outpouring of love & support... is nothing short of remarkable."

The former Thursday singer was well enough to return to the stage with No Devotion, which features former members of Welsh band Lostprophets, in Paris, France on Sunday (27Sep15).

After the show, the rockers simply tweeted, "Thanks so much Paris!! You have charmed us... See you again soon".

Rickly hasn't had the best of luck in recent years - in 2013, he was left shaken after he was robbed at gunpoint near his home in Brooklyn, New York.
