Bill Murray Lost In Translation Sofia Coppola

Bill Murray is teaming up with his Lost In Translation director Sofia Coppola to create a Christmas Tv special.

The Ghostbusters actor will sing classic yuletide carols in the one-off show, which will be directed by Coppola.

He tells Variety.com, "It's not going to be live... We're going to do it like a little movie. It won't have a format, but it's going to have music. It will have texture. It will have threads through it that are writing. There will be prose... It will have a patina style and wit to it. It will be nice."

'Titanic's front of ship scene has been voted the most romantic movie moment of all time.

The Oscar-winning film - which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet - topped a poll by Italian liqueur Disaronno to find the most popular love scene, in which their characters Jack and Rose go to The Front of the doomed cruise-liner and pretend to fly.

The heart-warming moment beat Andrew Lincoln declaring his love for Keira Knightly through signs in 'Love Actually' while Demi Moore and the late Patrick Swayze's sexy clay turning came third.

Bill Murray Lost In Translation

Bill Murray has re-enacted a famous scene from his movie Lost In Translation by singing karaoke with a group of young partygoers in New York City.

The actor was nominated for an Oscar for his performance as a lonely movie star stuck in Japan, who befriends a young college-graduate, played by Scarlett Johansson.

The characters famously spend an evening at a karaoke bar in the critically-acclaimed 2003 film, and Murray delighted revellers at the Karaoke One 7 venue in Manhattan recently by joining a young group of friends for an evening of singing.

A number of pictures of Murray belting out hits at the bar have emerged online on TheChive.com and the user who posted the snaps, named only as Mike, told the publication about his unplanned evening of fun with the Hollywood star.

Six years after she immortalised a Tokyo, Japan hotel in Lost In Translation, director Sofia Coppola is checking in again for a new movie based on Hollywood's infamous Chateau Marmont.

Steven Dorff has signed to star as a famous actor, living in the hotel, who is forced to raise his 11-year-old daughter when she appears in his life.

Dakota Fanning's sister Elle is in talks to play Dorff's daughter.

According to Daily Variety, Coppola has been given permission to shoot the movie in the Sunset Boulevard hotel.

But the Scary Movie star had no idea.

Johansson's cigarette intake has increased as a result, upsetting those who live in the same apartment block.
An insider tells British newspaper the Daily Express, "One neighbour confronted Scarlett about the smell and she snapped, 'I am going through a difficult time right now - but she did agree to open the window to avoid disagreement."
